The hand held DT2236 digital tachometer is an all-in-one reflective or contact multifunction tachometer. Possible to measure a rotation speed between 5-100000 rev/min with photo eye (0,5-19999 rev/min, or a translation speed within 0,05-1999,9 meters/min , by the means of a 10cm contact wheel with conversion factor equal to 0,1).

Photo tachometer:
- Apply a 10/12 mm long strip of tape on the revolving part and sense with photo eye (distance 50/150 mm., 300 mm. maximum). In the case of low speeds, add more strips. In this case the displayed value should be divided by the number of strips.

- Use special coupling drivers.
